6關于語音的幾個概念:
Phonics是一種(方法),是教育學習者從字母排列中去拼讀出單個字來.
AHD表示美語發音,The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language（簡稱AHD）
KK音标是一套(注音符号系統),是由John Samuel Kenyon和 John Albert Knott兩位美國學者共同編著的發音詞典A Pronouncing Dictionary of American1956中用于标注美式發音的符号系統,這是一套最常用的也是最權威的注音法，從此人們把美語标準發音慣稱為KK音标。
DJ是根據英國學者Daniel Jones編的英語發音字典(English Pronouncing Dictionary, 1963)中的标音而來.
英式讀音根據的是English Pronouncing Dictionary《英語正音辭典》。它們代表了被稱為“Received Pronuciation”（RP）（标準讀音）的讀音，這在受過教育的英國人尤其是南部英格蘭人中通用。
1888年國際語音協會(International Phonetic Association)的語言學家便制定出一套可國際通用的語音符号叫國際音标符号(IPA—International Phonetic Alphabet)，希望以一個符号代表一音，并避免各人使用一套自己的符号所産生的不便。
國内的英文字典裡最常見的音标為英式發音的國際音标(DJ)和美式發音的KK音标，前者乃根據Daniel Jones編的英語發音字典(English Pronouncing Dictionary, 1963)，後者則是根據John S. Kenyon& Thomas A. Knott二氏的美語發音字典(A Pronouncing Dictionary of American English, 1956)。值得一提的是，KK音标所使用的符号均從前面提到的國際音标符号(IPA)而來，Kenyon& Knott二氏僅将其中适用于美式英語的符号截取出來。
音素:音的最小單位,英語中有48個音素.
音節:由元音和輔音構成的發音單位.
元音:發音響亮,是樂音,口腔中氣流不受阻礙,是音節的主要組成部分.英語中有20個元音.
輔音:發音不響亮,是噪音,口腔中氣流受到阻礙,不是音節的重要組成部分,英語中有28個輔音.

wet和vet的發音區别
v和w的發音是不一樣的，v相當于是上牙咬下嘴唇發出的爆破音，相當于被濁化的f音；
而w發音的口型則是圓形。
θ和ð的發音與s和z的音類似，相當于咬住舌頭時發出的s和z的音。
擴展資料：
多數輔音的讀音與拼音差别不大，可以通過拼音來進行諧音；還有一部分輔音沒有對應的拼音字體，這裡我們主要是針對/θðʃʒ/這四個輔音。
其中，/θ/和/ð/這兩個音标，它們沒有近似的拼音來對應，主要靠嘴形來記憶。
/θ/――上下牙齒咬着舌頭尖，發“斯"的音；/ð/――舌頭頂上牙堂發拼音z一聲；
/ʃ/――師；/ʒ/――牙齒閉合，舌頭虛碰牙齒發拼音r一聲。
國際音标采用方括弧[ ]，以别于普通字母。
另外，為了記錄的方便，對于一些重要的語音伴随現象，國際語音學會還規定了一套“形容符号”、“通代符号”和“特别符号”。如：形容符号“**”鼻化，“ph”強送氣，“p‘”弱送氣，“a：”全長a，“a。”半長a，“**”輕聲（**）等。通代符号和特别符号不再舉例。
